It didn't explain how to get the three individual layers in the first place. I saw a lesson on how to use layers and three photos were stacked on top of each other and you could see the other layers under the the first. No matter what I do I just have background. For text, selecting "Ungroup" once allows you to move and resize each layer of text independently, but keeps the letters grouped together. I notice you have Layer 1 and background. Ungroup a set of layers, images, or text so that they move and size independently from one another on the Canvas. This will not affect how images are laid out on the cutting mats.
